Tore Kalmeborg, formerly CEO of Hampden Group, has formed a new consultancy operation named TAM Consulting BV. He says it will provide services ‘within all areas of non-life commercial and industrial insurance solutions, both for ongoing operations and legacy business.
TAM will generally not be in the market for purchasing companies or portfolios, says Kalmeborg, nor will it propose to manage on behalf of its clients, but will be available as an independent advisor directly to clients or as a sub-consultant to other companies.
With regard to discontinued lines of business or portfolios, he says the consultancy will offer advice on whether to formally exit the business or to keep it in-house, but restructure the way it is operated, as well as on how to achieve finality of outstanding portfolios
‘Geographically we will concentrate on Scandinavia, Continental Europe and the UK, but will of course be available on a global basis should the need arise,’ says Kalmeborg. More information at www.tamconsulting.net.
